Miami, tennis and motors

Tennis in Miami did its part, staging the second Masters1000 of the historic ‘Sunshine Double’, the pair of tournaments that also includes IndianWells and that accompanies the tour to the spring season.

But, over there, it will soon be the turn of Formula 1.

For the first time in history, in fact, the fastest cars in the world will speed in Florida, on a racetrack prepared on purpose for the occasion. The fun lies in the fact that this track was created in the area around the HardRockStadium, the same facility where the tennis players of the international tour performed (where an appreciated driving simulator was placed for the occasion) and which will be ‘cut’ in two parts by the cars, for the Grand Prix scheduled for next May 8th. The event is the first of a contract between Miami and Formula 1 for a period of at least 10 years.

At Tennis on the Racetrack, we thought about this link between tennis and motorsport, turning it into reality. So much that the Tennis on the Racetrack Imola 2023 event – born from the idea of CC LAB and organized in association with the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo and Dino Ferrari – will be staged not only close, but even inside one of the racetracks that have made the history of sport.
