Griekspoor and Verstappen, Dutch pride

Netherlands is a country that – despite its small size – is extremely connected to the world of sport and which knows how to produce great talents in every discipline. One of them is Max Verstappen, reigning Formula 1 world champion and recent winner of Imola Grand Prix, right there where Tennis on the Racetrack, Imola 2023, will be staged in about a year.

Many people support Verstappen and some tennis players are no exception. In particular, his compatriot Tallon Griekspoor, one of the revelations of the last season in the international tennis tour. The 25-year-old from Haarlem, today number 57 Atp, publicly expressed his support for the Red Bull champion: “When he won the 2021 World Championship – he explained – I was not at home but in a hotel. And I screamed for joy like a madman, so much that some friends came to ask me if everything was ok.

The truth is that what Max is doing is something extraordinary: he has allowed Formula 1 to become even more popular than it already was in our country, and now he is a real idol for everyone”. Tennis on the Racetrack – born from the idea of CC LAB Consultant Ltd, organized by CC Lab Italia Srl in association with Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari in Imola – will be a further moment of contact between tennis and motorsports, a tennis played right in a racetrack. Indeed, a real way to combine the sports, e-sports, entertainment and more in a one-of-a-kind event. Soon we will reveal more news about Tennis on the Racetrack. Stay tuned!
