In recent days, the press has confirmed the news that the Imola Formula 1 Grand Prix on 21 May 2023, will overlap the first Italian edition of Tennis on the Racetrack Imola 2023, scheduled on the same racetrack for 23 May next year.
Sonja Iumiento, director of CC LAB Consultant Ltd, the company that created the format ‘Tennis on the Racetrack ‘, announced: “On 9 October 2021, Formula Imola signed a contract with CC LAB Italia srl, in which the exclusive use of the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Racetrack was granted for the duration of 11 days – from May 17 to May 27 2023 – for the inaugural event ‘Tennis on the Racetrack Imola 2023’, on 23 May.
On September 20, 2022, the official FIA Formula 1 calendar was released, which sees the Imola Grand Prix taking place on the Imola Racetrack on May 21, 2023.
To date, we have not received any official communication from Formula Imola S.p.A.
The event, supported by the regional authorities, saw the participation of the main representatives of local institutions at the press conference presentation last January 20th, 2022”.
Imola 2023 is the first stage of the innovative sports entertainment format, Tennis on the Racetrack, which has been planned on a worldwide scale and which will continue its run later in several countries in Europe and throughout the world.

With a view to proceeding with the work already effectively started, we await communication from Formula Imola S.p.A. regarding the situation.”
